In 1979 this car was offered for sale in the magazine „AUTO-MOTOR und SPORT“ as a Hanomag Sturm Sedan. When experts looked at it they found that it originally was a Hebmüller Convertible. Adolf Eberl, Hanomag expert and member of the Hanomag IG decided to buy this mysterious vehicle. It took him more than 20 years to restore and rebuilt it into it‘s original state. It is a real jewel today. The complete story was published a couple of years ago in the “Hanomag-Kurier”, a publication of the Hanomag IG. Adolf Eberl brought the car to the Karosserie Hebmüller Meeting in 2009. In the meantime he sold it and now it is part of a private collection. (KH)
