HEBMÜLLER MEETINGS
Classic Remise 2016 - Hebmüller special
Düsseldorf on the last weekend in May 2016 was the settings for the 7th air-cooled VW meeting, now almost a tradition, in the Classic Remise. One day before, the family Hebmüller organized a great oldtimer rally around the city of Neuss. Several Hebmüller Type 14A and members of the VW club "Käferfreunde Pendelachse" had a great saturday afternoon. On sunday, Germany´s largest classic car center was completely taken over by the air-cooled band. Nearly 400 air-cooled VWs from all over Germany and neighbouring countries lined up on the apron outside the Classic Remise. The meeting is a fixed date in the VW calendar now, and this year was devoted to the Oval beetle. The organisers´ main theme was production-line Beetle saloons from 1950s. In the foyer of the Classic Remise there was a display of 12 Hebmüller Type 14A convertibles. Roland Holm from Austria had the longest journey with his Hebmüller, driving over 1600 km to Düsseldorf. And Traugott Grundmann from Hessisch Oldendorf brought his pale metallic blue '80s look to the Hebmüller gathering. Plenty of VW fans made the journey from Hong Kong and the USA, and the Beetle Buddies of "Käferfreunde Pendelachse Düsseldorf" were really greatful to all Hebmüller owners who´d enabled such a great exhibition.
